Write to the studio

One address, read by the people who write the pages. No form, no list, no automated reply pretending to be a person.

The address

Email [email protected]. It goes to the people who write and check these pages, and it is the only contact route — there is deliberately no sign-up box and no enquiry form on this site, because there is no mailing list behind one and a form that posts nowhere is worse than no form at all.

What gets a useful answer

  • A factual correction. A price that has moved, a paper that has been superseded, a regulator page that has been rewritten, a dead link. Send the source and it gets fixed.
  • A source request. Every figure here has one; ask and you get it.
  • A question about what a page means. If something is written badly, that is worth knowing.
  • Partnership and press. Answered, and answered honestly about what this site will and will not publish.

What will not get an answer

Anything medical about your own scalp. Not because it is unwelcome, but because answering it would be pretending to be something this site is not. Nobody here is a clinician, nobody can see your head, and hair loss has causes that need examining rather than describing in an email. Take it to a doctor or a board-certified dermatologist.

Requests to name, rank, review or recommend a studio, clinic or artist are also declined, including paid ones. That rule is explained on the about page and it has no exceptions.

Response time

Replies are written by people, in working hours, in the order they arrive. There is no ticketing system and no promise of a same-day answer, so treat this as correspondence rather than support.
